Mission Statement for Council of Elders:

Council of Elders, first and foremost, is a circle of friends. Like King Arthur's great table there is no head; the guild develops and strengthens under the leadership and involvement of the entire community. Anything that will affect the guild is discussed through our forums and all the members have equal say.

We play World of Warcraft to have fun. It is a game and when it ceases to be enjoyable it has lost its purpose. Our sole mission was not to become a hardcore raiding guild, but a helpful, friendly, and skilled group of people who enjoy playing the game. The guild is about friendship and working together. The Council of Elders seeks to make the game fun for everyone in all its aspects.

With that said, Council of Elders seeks to tackle as many obstacles as it can in PvE as well as stake out a name for itself on Azeroth's battlegrounds. We want to be known as a group of dependable, solid players.

We also take care of new players of the game, show them the ropes, and help them out when they need it. Our skills and interests differ from member to member. Some enjoy PvP while others are skilled in PvE and the variety of crafters and gatherers we have all complement each other. The final mix is a great group of people who share a love for the game and the friendships that are created.

With regards to raids, our primary focus for the short term will be the 10 man versions.  Eventually however, as a guild we would like to see 25 man raids successfully completed with all of us participating, without pressuring our players to feel that raiding is a part-time job.

• is about friendship and working together
• wishes to be known throughout Staghelm as a group of good, dependable players
• has goals of successfully enabling and including the entire guild in end-game content
• likes cookies

• puts pressure on players
• sucks
• doesn't like cookies
