Banner Contest

Well, so far we've only got 2 banner submissions. You can view them both in the Gallery section. Right now, I've put Lacey's up on the site. Not to demean Karl's submission, but I figured Lacey's was a bit more dynamic looking.

I'll keep this contest active through the weekend in case any one else wants to submit something. We'll put it up for a vote starting Sunday night.

Karl can feel free to change the banner over to his submission tomorrow night or something so that we can see how they both will look at the top of the site. I would take care of it, but I'll be off LARPing this weekend.

So come on...last chance to get in on making our site look a bit better!

Well, we can start by replacing the banner up top with something personalized.

There are a number of aspects of this site that can be customized and I've been thinking the first one is the banner up top that just currently has a boring old guild name announcement in a generic font.

So how about some of you artistically inclined folks take a crack at personalizing the site a bit more for us with a brand new banner.

The banner can be as simple as a basic image or can even be rendered in Flash or extra effects. You can find the blank template in the Gallery to work from in terms of height and width.

Let's see what we can come up with and we'll put it to a vote. The creator of the chosen banner will get themselves some prize money from the Elders!

And please...don't make me do it because it'll end up being stick figures. Ugly ones.
